  • How long does the battery last, and can I replace it?

    Roam's battery lasts up to one year with normal use. When it's time for a change, you can easily replace the CR2032 battery yourself, ensuring long-term use without the need for a new device.

  • Is Roam compatible with my smartphone?

    Roam works seamlessly with Android or iOS devices. It integrates directly with the built-in Find My app on both platforms, eliminating the need for additional app downloads.

  • Does it work with both Apple and Android "Find My" device network at the same time?

    No. Using both networks simultaneously isn’t possible due to Apple and Google policies and inherent incompatibility between Apple Find My and Google’s Find My Device. Roam works with one network at a time – either Apple Find My or Google's Find Hub Device. But don't worry! There are still millions of devices in each network to help you find your items quickly. To switch between networks, you can reset the tracker by removing it from the current app and then reconnect it on another device.

  • Can I share access to my Roam tracker with family or friends?

    Yes, you can share access to your Roam tracker with others through your device's Find My app. This is useful for shared items or when you want multiple people to be able to locate something.

  • How secure is the data from my Roam device?

    We take your privacy seriously. Roam uses encrypted communications, and your location data is only accessible through your personal device's Find My app. We do not store or have access to your location information.
